If you're not sure if I'll draw it, just ask!

I'm doing commissions on the side, so depending on how my life is going, a commission can take anywhere from a few days to a month or so to finish. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like a progress update!

I like to check in periodically with sketches to make sure the commission is looking how you want, and with updates if it's taking a while!

I reserve the right to refuse a commission

I'll draw furries!

Art is a process! I very much want your feedback, particularly in the drafting stage. The further I get into a piece, the more difficult it will be to make dramatic changes without redoing the entire piece

Changing it up?

Like I said above, I like to check in at various points in the process to make sure everything looks how you want it! Here are my usual checkin points:

  • If your piece is still in the messy sketch phase, where everything is mostly circles, blocked-out shapes, and stick-figure lines: go wild with any and every note and change you want!
  • If it's in the rough lineart phase, where the subjects of the piece are more fleshed out but not cleaned up or set in stone: continue to go wild! This is the best time to make tweaks to appearance, clothes, pose, expressions, etc.
    • For a painting commission, this is the most detailed that lineart will get, as I paint directly onto the lines, so be sure to get all your line edits in during this stage
  • If your commission has color, the color roughs stage (where I've roughly painted the colors of the piece behind the lineart) is the best time to make changes to it. Since I won't have started neatly filling everything in, or painting, I'm happy to change around colors as much as you want :)

Note: this is your last chance to change lineart without incurring a small fee!

  • If the neat lineart and/or color flats of your piece are done, I'm open to small tweaks of things that you think look weird, or little details that you want changed; anything that involves moving any of the body of a character to a different position will incur a charge of up to $20 USD
  • If your piece is fully painted, I'm also happy to do small tweaks of things that you think look weird, or little details that you want changed. Any change that involves moving any of the body of a character to a different position; changing the color of anything that isn't a small detail; or changing the background will incur a charge of up to $50 USD
  • Please don't worry: I'll tell you if you're going to get an extra fee! I won't spring it on you!

If you're not sure if a change is a big one, feel free to ask! I don't mind answering questions at all, and ultimately my goal is for you to be happy with what you receive.

Informtion I need from you:

  • References! These can be visual or written descriptions, can be your own art, can be screenshots, can be commissions from other people, can be stock images, anything goes. If you have a really clear image of what you want, don't be afraid to load me up with information about it! On the other end of the spectrum, you can tell me who you want drawn and give me some vibes to aim for and let me loose. Whatever feels good
  • Similar to references, a description of what you want the characters to be doing. It can be as vague or as specific as you like. What would you like me to draw for you?
  • What kind of piece you want, be it lineart, flats, or a painting. If it's something that's not explicitly listed on the commission page or shown in the gallery, tell me what you're looking for and I'll tell you what I can do :)
  • If you have a timeframe in mind (maybe it's a commission for a birthday, or a portrait for a D&D campaign you're starting next week), let me know! I'll do my best to get it to you before then
  • If your commission is of two characters, an idea of their relationship and interpersonal dynamic is very helpful to me, so that I can draw them interacting in an accurate way :)
